Camino - 2007 / 2008

Camino, spanish for “path” and “I walk” refers to the desire for change and its accompanying challenges.
Camino is like a journey full of adventure through varying landscapes: like a medieval quest for the meaning of life complete with warriors and pilgrims. Choreographer Marta Reig Torres and her three dancers return to the past to revive the present. With their history and imagination as they move through the moment and discover what remains of experiences encountered, what disappears and signifies, here and now.

The music score is inspired by the street sounds of a remote Spanish village during its traditional festivities.
